The SPARK Lab empowers NYU faculty and instructors from every discipline to enhance digital fluency learning experiences in the classroom by partnering to incorporate creative multimedia and emerging technology into coursework assignments. Through our multimedia lab in the Bobst Library, we support students by offering access to a wide range of technologies, workshops, and training opportunities.
The SPARK Lab serves as a central hub for generative AI, virtual reality, creative making, digital storytelling, and instructional tools for coding. In addition to providing access to these technologies, the SPARK Lab team is available to consult with faculty on curriculum integration, student engagement strategies, and opportunities to enhance digital fluency.
The SPARK Lab is open Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Services
The SPARK Lab offers support for faculty seeking to integrate creative and emerging technologies as key components of class assignments.
