NYU Libraries provide wireless internet (WiFi) access for NYU Community members (nyu); affiliated institution members (eduroam); and for visitors (nyuguest).

NYU Community Members

Wireless is available across NYU Libraries (nyu), for those with an NYU NetID and password. Configure your device for wireless access.

eduroam Institution Members

eduroam allows students, researchers, and staff from participating eduroam institutions to use the Internet when visiting other institutions in the eduroam network; NYU is an eduroam member. Visit the eduroam website for more information.

Bobst Library

  • NYU has a guest WiFi network (nyuguest) for visitors who do not have an active NYU NetID or access to eduroam.
  • Credentials are individually assigned to each guest.
  • Your Library sponsor can request WiFi credentials on your behalf.
  • If you do not have a sponsor but are a Member of a Libraries-Affiliated Program, you can visit the Bobst Library Computer Center to request a guest wireless account.
  • Bobst Library online resources are only accessible on the guest wireless when used within the Bobst Library building.

For the best experience, as well as added security, we suggest using one of NYU’s recommended browsers when accessing the wireless service.
