The Office of the Dean of the Division of Libraries provides strategic leadership for NYU Libraries, supporting the University’s mission of advancing teaching, learning, and research across its global network. The office oversees Bobst Library, NYU’s flagship library,at Washington Square, and six other libraries across NYU’s campuses, as well as NYU Press and NYU TV. Dean Kristina L. Rose leads the Division of Libraries, in partnership with the Libraries Senior Leadership Team (LSLT), guiding strategy, operations, and long-term planning for the organization.

The Dean’s Office works across the University to support student success and flourishing, advance faculty teaching and research, steward library collections and spaces, and lead initiatives that expand access to knowledge and scholarship. This includes fostering partnerships across academic units, supporting innovation in teaching and learning, and ensuring the Libraries remain responsive to the evolving needs of the NYU community.

As a member of the University’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Dean Rose helps shape University-wide priorities while championing the essential role libraries play in academic and campus life.
